Adaptability

We are able to supply you with a complete packaged mobile boiler room regardless of your unique jobsite conditions. Our mobile boilers are modularly designed to allow for integration of new features without the added cost of redesign. Closed cell polystyrene foam can be sprayed into wall cavities for customers operating in freezing temperatures.

OSHA and IBC compliant stairs can be furnished. Operator’s desks and sampling sinks can be integrated. Propane vaporizers can be built into the mobile boiler room. We really can encompass any feature imaginable, all while maintaining a low cost.

Firetube Boiler

Brands: Cleaver-Brooks, York-Shipley, Hurst, Superior and other world class firetube boilers
Capacities: 10 HP – 1,000 HP
Output: Low pressure steam, high pressure steam, hot water, high temperature hot water
Pressures: Hot water and steam up to 350psi
Fuels: Natural gas, propane, #2 oil, #4 oil, #6 oil (bunker) and alternative fuels
Emissions: Low NOx and Ultra Low NOx with optional opacity monitoring and continuous emission monitoring systems

Deaerator / Feedwater System

Brands: York-Shipley, BFS
Capacities: 25 Boiler Horsepower – 1,000 Boiler Horsepower
Type: Spray type deaerator or vented feedwater system
Pumps: Fully redundant duplex and triplex feedwater pumps
Larger capacities available in standalone rental deaerator systems

Water Treatment

HVAC

Power Mechanical’s mobile boiler rooms include heating and ventilation equipment to maintain a controlled and safe air environment within the enclosure. These systems can be customized for operation in ambient temperatures as low as -40F and elevations up to 5,000 feet above sea level.

Types: Electric heaters, air supply fans, air exhaust fans, heat trace, piping insulation, combustion air ducting
Capacities: Heaters up to 40kW

External Connections

Power Mechanical’s mobile boiler rooms have flanged external pipe connections for the easiest possible installation. To further expedite the installation process, we also offer facility rental connections (HUB Systems), pre-fabricated pipe spools, rental hoses and full project engineering.

A stub stack ships loose with the boiler to be mounted on the top of the mobile boiler room. Opacity monitoring and continuous emission monitoring systems are available with our mobile boiler rooms.

Built around the operator

Our mobile boiler rooms are built by boiler operators, for boiler operators. The equipment is positioned for maximum ease of use and the fastest integration possible. Valve handles and gauges are easily identifiable and easily accessible.

User interfaces are in comfortable locations. Filters and strainers are installed in places that are easy to service. Ample LED lights are installed in strategic positions. The entire system is designed to mimic the organization and function of a full scale boiler plant, but in a greatly reduced footprint.
